I was just rewatching it and realized that it really is more about Angel... although Spike does show up toward the end. The video cuts used in that one, though, always crack me up. Just perfectly timed!

There are two other videos I used to love but I can't find them anymore. One of them was Crash/Dave Matthews and the other was Bullet with Butterfly Wings/Smashing Pumpkins. Can't find either one of them on youtube anymore.

So many ways they could have ended that episode. So glad it ended where it did. It was perfect!

I just posted this as a reply out on FB, but figured I could bring it here, too...

I've actually been thinking about when I first saw "Fool for Love" and "Darla." It was two days after they aired, because I'd driven down to my mom's place in Pahrump, NV to visit her and to attend Comdex (at the time, it was THE tradeshow for the computer industry) in Vegas, so I wasn't able to watch them when they aired. Since this was back in the days before it was relatively easy and/or legal to find TV shows online, my husband (who obviously loves me very much) recorded them on VHS and shipped them next day air to my mom's place.
